The AI note-taker for people who aren't allowed to use one.

Fieldnoter records, transcribes, and summarizes conversations entirely on the iPhone. Nothing is uploaded: no audio, no text, no account. That matters because a growing number of organizations do not allow conversations to be sent to cloud AI services. Fieldnoter does not need one.

Why it exists

I sat in meetings where nobody was allowed to turn on an AI note-taker. Company policy, client confidentiality, or plain common sense: the conversation could not go to someone else's server. So people typed notes half-listening, or recorded nothing at all. Modern iPhones are fast enough to do the whole job themselves, from transcription to summary. Fieldnoter is that idea, built properly: a field recorder that writes everything down and hands nothing over. What is said in the room stays in the room, and you still walk away with the notes.
