Works without the cloud
Many organizations don't allow conversations to be sent to a cloud service. Fieldnoter records, transcribes, and summarizes right on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded.
Launching soon. Built for coaches, therapists, lawyers, and consultants.
How it works
Record a meeting live, or bring in an audio or video file you already have.
Fast on-device speech models turn the audio into text and tell the speakers apart.
Get a clean summary and a list of action items you can send to Reminders.
Why no cloud matters
Fieldnoter has no server that could receive your audio. Your recordings, transcripts, and notes live only on your iPhone. Delete a recording and it is gone. Delete the app and it all goes with it.
European organizations are looking for sovereign alternatives to US cloud services, because laws like the CLOUD Act can reach data stored with American providers. Fieldnoter sits outside that discussion: there is no server, so there is no processor to vet and no data location to assess. What a sovereign cloud promises for your conversations, the iPhone in your pocket already delivers.
In the app
Name each voice once. It follows through summaries and every export.
On-device AI writes a summary and pulls out the to-dos automatically.
Meeting, workshop, one to one, interview, coaching, or legal. Pick the frame that fits.
Group recordings, with a prep brief that remembers your earlier sessions.
Put Face ID or a passcode in front of your transcripts.
TXT, SRT, VTT, JSON, and CSV for when the text needs to go somewhere else.
